Village Drum Sounds

For this past 'throwback Thursday' I was on the African village vibrations and I came across a clip of the drummers from Toubakouta, Senegal. This area is a popular destination that sits right between Kaolack and The Gambia.

I was told a style of Sabar played with Djembe is called Sabar Wolof. I’ll have to do more research or ask some friends but regardless the combination of Djembe, Djundjuns, and Sabar is spectacular!
