The Place We Come Together

Family,

Hoping this finds you well. This year has brought on many challenges forcing us to grow and learn new ways to adapt to life. As we transitioned from isolation, to social distancing, and begin reconnecting in safe measurable ways I want to remind the tribe that the place we come together is a safe one for all people and backgrounds. This is why I have adopted the term 'Keppar Troupe' which translates to the shade where people come together to sit and talk or entertain.

We've been having our form of this in the Capital Region in two places throughout the week. Monday at the Arbor Hill Park (Directly outside Albany Barn) Drum class from 6:00pm-6:45pm and dance from 6:45pm-7:30pm. Saturdays 12:00pm-12:45pm Drum class and dance from 12:45pm-1:30pm at Washington Park (Western Avenue Side by the playground). This is a donation based class and we will continue to hold these while the weather permits.

The goal is to have 'safe' classes before the end of the year indoors so keep an eye out for the email!
